Coronary Heart Disease/Stroke Management

This is a weekly nurse-led clinic offering advice, education and monitoring of patients with known coronary heart disease, i.e. angina, heart attack and stroke. Patients will receive an annual invite to this clinic.

The clinical team at the surgery carry out specialised health checks on people who have known coronary vascular disease e.g. angina, previous heart disease, by-pass surgery, strokes etc, to ensure the best treatment.

It is important for people who have these conditions to have this monitored and reviewed annually. Occasionally it is necessary to review more frequently (as advised by the clinical team).
