Hypertension

The clinical team at the surgery carry out specialised health checks on people who been diagnosed with high blood pressure (hypertension), to ensure the best treatment.

It is very important for people who have been prescribed medication to control their blood pressure, to have this monitored and reviewed annually. Occasionally it is necessary to repeat more frequently, (as advised by the clinical team).
