Minor Surgery

Some of our doctors perform minor surgical procedures at the surgery. You need to consult your doctor to discuss this and then you will be offered an appointment to have the procedure carried out, provided the doctors feel it is appropriate to be performed at the surgery.

For other procedures you will be referred to the hospital.

Please note that not all perform minor surgery here and you maybe referred to another doctor at the practice for this to be done. These procedures will be arranged for you by the nursing team. Whilst we try to accommodate requests for some specific times and choice of appointment, it is not always possible to meet all requests and so some flexibility is required.

We hold weekly cryotherapy sessions for the treatment of warts and veruccae.  You must discuss treatment of these areas with a doctor prior to making an appointment in the wart clinic, which is held at  No. 1 Worcester Street.
