Patient Access Survey

DEAR PATIENTS,

You may have received or will shortly be receiving a GP Patient Access Survey through the post.  This survey is commissioned by the Department of Health by a Company called Ipsos Mori. 

It seeks your views on access and opening times of the Surgery which is fed into a national database. The Practice unfortunately does not receive any feedback from this Survey and is therefore unable to comment or respond in any way e.g by making changes or improvements.

The information that you do provide however will affect funding that the Practice receives and this is reduced by negative feedback which then has a knock on effect to the services that we provide and our ability to make improvements.

Whilst we would encourage you to complete the questionnaire, to ensure that the results do not have an adverse effect on the Practice funding stream we would ask you to do so objectively.

If you have any queries, concerns or suggestions for improvements to our Services there are various options to take here at the Surgery.  You could pop you suggestion in the Moans and Groans Box, post online at NHS Choices or write to the Practice Manager who will respond to your concerns.
